President Obama has said IT'S TIME to extend federal minimum wage and overtime protections to home care workers.
We agree! It’s time to provide basic labor protections to our nation’s fastest-growing workforce--and one that is vital to the health and well-being of America’s families.
These workers assist older Americans and people with disabilities with activities critical to their safety, independence, and quality of life. Yet half of these workers rely on public assistance to meet the basic needs of their own families.
The time to act is now.
