My son, along with many other children at Holgate Academy, is facing a daily struggle that no child should endure—going through the entire school day without a proper meal. Holgate Academy, located in Nottinghamshire, currently offers a lunch period that is simply too short for all students to receive and consume their meals adequately. This is not just a matter of convenience; it's a pressing issue affecting students' health, concentration, and overall well-being.

The current lunch period at Holgate Academy is insufficient to accommodate the number of students who need to purchase and eat their meals within the given timeframe. As a result, many students are left with little to no time to access nutritious food, which is essential for maintaining energy levels and concentration throughout the school day. This has become a significant concern for parents, teachers, and, most importantly, the students themselves who feel rushed and stressed during what should be a relaxing and nourishing time.
