I am a resident of Hullbridge, and to me, our local library is more than just a building with books. It is a pillar of our community, providing a safe haven for everyone. It's where parents bring their toddlers for story time; it's where people come to find warmth and solace.

However, the limited operating hours of the library are restricting its potential as an essential community hub. Libraries across the UK have seen an increase in usage over recent years (source: The Guardian), demonstrating their vital role in society. Yet, many like ours in Hullbridge are not open long enough to accommodate all who wish to use them.

By extending its operating hours, Hullbridge Library could better serve our community by providing increased access to resources and services that foster learning and social connection. Kelly and Sarah have a wealth of knowledge between them,  and are well-versed in helping customers with what they need.
