My dog Finchley is more than a pet—he’s family, and a licensed resident of Greenwich. Every winter and early spring, we treasure our walks at Tod’s Point.

Extending leashed dogs at Tod's Point from Oct 1 - March 31st would allow families like ours extra time to take walks with our dogs. It’s a small change that would mean a lot to our community.

Greenwich remains the only nearby coastal town that imposes a stringent seasonal restriction on leashed dog access, limiting it from Dec 1 - March 31st. By comparison, surrounding communities have extended their policies to reflect modern usage, public demand, and effective seasonal management. We respectfully request that the Town of Greenwich extend the dog season at Tod’s Point from Oct 1 – March 31st, aligning with regional best practices.
