We are a vibrant community of active adults over the age of 55, residing in Wimauma, FL. Our community is marketed and sold as a place for us to enjoy our golden years actively and socially. However, we find ourselves treated as if we should all be in bed by 8:00pm. The decision to close our beloved clubhouse and disable access to owners after this time is unjustifiable.

Our clubhouse serves as the heart of our community - it's where we gather for various activities including card games that often extend beyond 8:00pm. Due to the early closure, these cherished gatherings will have to be cancelled, disrupting our social lives and sense of community.

The management company Lennar has not provided any rational explanation for this decision that affects us so deeply. This lack of communication further exacerbates the issue at hand.

We believe that extending the operating hours until 11:00pm from Monday through Sunday will greatly enhance our quality of life without causing significant disruption or cost increase. After all, isn't an active adult lifestyle what was promised when we chose this place?
