The Bellevue South park's operating hours currently vary by season, remaining open until 8pm in the Spring and Summer, while closing at 6pm in the winter. However, this schedule doesn't accommodate the after-work rush, leaving many community members and their pets without an accessible space for outdoor activity in the colder months. Extending the winter operating hours to 7pm would serve a significant number of residents who rely on the park for their own and their pets' daily exercise and social interaction needs. By accounting for nine-to-five work schedules, we can make the park more accessible and beneficial for everyone in our community, including our beloved canines.
