I recently finished a fabulous book, actually a thesis turned into a book by noted researcher Michael Calder. It came as news to me that Abraham was so well thought of by CONGRESS that during the 1977-79 House Investigation of the murders of President Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, that Abraham was called before the committee to tell his side of the failed Secret Service Protection of President Kennedy. Not only did Abraham help to break up the attempt of JFK's life in Chicago in early November 1963, he warned his supervisors of plots to kill the President from FBI internal memos. Of course those disappeared after the murder of JFK because they were an embarrassment to the director Hoover. But they were issued less than 10 days before November 22, 1963 and Abraham TRIED HIS BEST to get the higher ups to be more alert. They did not take his advise and later attempted to destroy the teletypes that warned of the impending slaughter in Dallas. Bravo to Abraham.
