I just signed Stephen Courts's petition "Expungement For A Conviction Of Mr. Bolden For A Crime He Did Not Commit" on Change.org. Here's why I signed: I have read Mr. Bolden's book on the events surrounding his engineered conviction for a crime he did not commit. I believe his account to be accurate and, unfortunately, completely in keeping with the tenor of those times. That this travesty continues uncorrected to this day is unconscionable. President Obama please show that our country has become enlightened enough, wise enough and just enough in the last four decades to erase this horrible institutional mistake.
