H.Res. 1247 is at 213 signatures, with 218 needed to force action on the Major Richard Star Act.

The Clerk’s official page shows the latest signatures were added June 9, and the petition is now only 5 signatures short.

But before anyone gets excited about the Republican House package, veterans who served over 13 years and have high DoD disability ratings need to watch this video.

If you are Chapter 61, medically retired under 20 years, and DoD rated you at 60%, 70%, or 75%, the 50% high-3 cap may leave you short compared to your actual DoD disability retired pay.

This information is still under the radar, and we need to bring it into public view before House offices decide whether to sign H.Res. 1247.
