THE EMERGENCY: The House Rules Committee is meeting TOMORROW (Tuesday) at 6:45 PM EST to clear a massive spending package called the "Minibus." The Senate gave Roger Wicker an escape. Stop it!
- What is in the Minibus: Billions of dollars in earmarks (pet projects) for politicians.
- What is MISSING: The Major Richard Star Act.
- THE BETRAYAL: House Leadership is rushing to pass funding for their own districts tomorrow night, but they have deliberately left the Defense Bill (H.R. 4016)—and the Major Richard Star Act—off the agenda. They are prioritizing pork over combat-injured veterans.
THE MISSION: We have less than 20 hours to flood the Rules Committee before they meet. We must demand they STOP THE MINIBUS until the Major Richard Star Act is paid for.
