This is a personal plea from a family whose beloved cat, Princessa, and her kittens were taken under false pretenses by a local Kitty Rescue in San Jose. We reached out to this rescue for help when one of Princessa's kittens was struggling to feed. The rescue offered assistance but instead of returning our pets as promised, they disappeared with them. They have blocked us and refused to return our kitties. I have reached out to authorities but our court date isn't until June and in the mean time they have my cats. 

Our daughters are heartbroken without their cherished pet and her babies. Unfortunately, we have discovered that our story is not unique. Other families have also reported similar experiences with this so-called rescue organization.

According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), 67% of U.S households own at least one pet which shows how deeply ingrained pets are in our lives and communities. It's devastating when these loved ones are taken away unethically.

We demand transparency from this Kitty Rescue about their practices and insist on the return of all pets wrongfully taken from their homes under false pretenses. We urge local authorities in San Jose to investigate these allegations promptly. Our court date is so far out we need justice now.

This petition seeks justice for Princessa and all other cats who may be victims of such unethical practices by supposed rescues. Let us ensure no other family has to experience such heartache again.
