I am using my voice to share a deeply personal issue that has infiltrated a safe online space: Our Discord server is being poisoned by a user named Ben. He has exhibited unacceptable behaviors that include pedophilia, crude advances towards underage members, and blatant racism which included personally targeting me with degrading slurs. It is, in truth, profoundly troubling and the emotional impact is immense.

Shockingly, according to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), one in four children have experienced something upsetting on a social networking site. We cannot allow our Discord server to contribute to this terrifying statistic by enabling Ben to continue his appalling behavior.

His actions are not only disturbing individual members but also cultivating a repugnant environment which promotes hatred, harm, and harassment. This goes against the community guidelines that strive to create a welcoming, safe, and respectful server. We must rise and take a stand against this.

If we do nothing, we are silently endorsing his actions. Let us champion the safety and dignity of every individual in our community by urging the server's administrators to expel Ben for his misconduct.
