     Deuce Roberson accepted an offer for CU Boulder’s football team this semester, and is currently attending school with multiple girls he harassed and raped in high school.  
     With over 20 allegations (edit 3/9: the El Paso County police were made aware of over 35 ALLEGATIONS) of sexual assault, sexual harassment, attempting to pay for child pornography, rape, and drugging women spanning five years, CU Boulder has both a legal and moral obligation to protect its students from this man. With approximately 45% of the undergraduate population being young women, the bare minimum to do to keep women safe includes prosecuting alleged rapists, pedophiles, and people who drug girls: all something Deuce Roberson is. While Deuce would add athletic talent to our football team, it’s extremely disappointing to learn that CU values football clout over keeping their students safe, just as Palmer Ridge High School did for four years. So far, there has been NO concrete action taken by CU Boulder.
     This is not something false or fabricated to tear down a student athlete, or to “chase clout.” I certainly have put my mental health and safety at risk in coming forward, especially using my real name, as have over 100 people and counting in the comments. It is sad when athletes are falsely accused, but I can assure you this is not the case here with a four year, recorded history of police investigation and allegations. All the girls speaking up have no reason to lie. When I was 15 and Deuce was 18 he tried to bribe me and pay me for nudes, which is attempting to buy child pornography and I consider pedophilia. If that doesn’t convince you of his morals regarding young women, he also tried to do the same to my friend who was TWELVE YEARS OLD when he was 18 (edit on 3/5/23: this originally said 16 but that was a typo. He was a high school senior and she was still in middle school). After initially sharing my story on social media after learning about Deuce’s commitment to Boulder a day before I made this petition, I’ve had a shocking amount of girls and young women come forward and share extremely similar stories. It cannot be a coincidence or a plot to slander someone when girls who have never even talked or met each other all have had the same experiences. While we felt isolated and scared at the time, we know now that this was a very widespread occurrence that Deuce manipulated women into thinking they could never speak up about. 
     I attended Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, CO with Deuce for two years. He has had a reputation for being super weird and pervy, harassing young girls for nudes for at least the past 5 years. Because of the allegations in high school it seems he was pressured to graduate early instead of facing expulsion or exposure. The admin at the time gave him this choice as an easy way out. Justice was never served for his behavior. He went out of state as far as I knew and went D3 in football but I guess he’s back. In high school our team won states 3 years in a row and Deuce was part of that hype and was protected by team coaches and the school district and admin. 
      A common question I receive and I acknowledge as completely valid is “why didn’t you go to the police/the legal route?” When this happened, a majority of us were children and were embarrassed confused or scared of what happened. Multiple victims were blackmailed with their own nudes and even physically threatened. It’s extremely hard for victims to come forward in any traumatic situations because the justice system doesn’t always serve justice. Despite this, there were multiple attempts to reach out to police. At his time during PRHS, there is at least one recorded police interview with the Monument Police Department and a meeting set up with the Colorado Springs Police Department, as well as multiple meetings and even disciplinary actions against Deuce at PRHS. How this slipped under the cracks for Coach Prime and the football recruiters I’m not sure, though I know there aren’t public records available because he was a minor at the time. I applaud all the men and women who have come forward. This isn’t easy to do and it takes so much bravery and resilience. I encourage people who question the credibility of this petition to look into the people behind the comments- we are all real people who attended PRHS or had other encounters with Deuce. On February 23, I formally reactivated an investigation into Deuce with the El Paso County Sheriffs Office. While they have since “dropped the case” because my harassment occurred “too long ago for them to investigate” (which is an outright lie because there is no statute of limitations for sex crimes or attempted sex crimes towards a minor) I gave them a comprehensive list and timeline of testimony and allegations. I don’t think justice will be served until they follow up with thorough investigation, especially with allegations available on public record. I’m extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and communication regarding this very serious situation.  

Here’s a list of some allegations against Deuce Roberson that I know of- I’m not posting the victims names for their protection

• in 2018 he raped a freshman at a house party down the road from me while he was a junior. She was too drunk to consent and clearly said no. Like a lot of girls, she attempted to press charges but was terrorized into dropping them. Deuce blackmailed her and had the Palmer Ridge High School football team relentlessly bully her.
• Sometime between 2018 and 2020, he sexually assaulted my friend at a sleepover in her own basement since her brother was friends with Deuce.
• Sometime in the past three months, Deuce grabbed and harassed a girl at the Whiskey Baron Club in Colorado Springs.
• Tried to bribe and harass at least ten other girls from my high school into sending nudes
• Raped one of my friends barely over a year ago.
• Drugged and raped a girl a grade above me at a high school party, used to publicly brag about it to his friends in high school
• Harassed another girl in his grade my freshman year 

       While the law says innocent until proven guilty and I agree, over 35 allegations is not something to take lightly. With the power of social media, people knowing Boulder admin is not only protecting but sponsoring and revering an alleged rapist and pedophile is a very bad reputation to have. While Deuce Roberson gets to live out his dream of playing D1 football, dozens of girls are suffering  every single day of their lives from chronic PTSD, poor body image and low self esteem from his objectification and harassment.
