Hello there,

My name is Austin and I am a resident of Louisburg. I have made occasional visits throughout the years to the skatepark in downtown Louisburg, and I now reside a few minutes down the road. I would love to see Louisburg expand their skatepark due to it’s subpar features and layout. It is in an excellent location, however the features at this park are not great and could use an uplift to get more visitors. Kids and adults alike both find joy in these types of parks and it gives everybody a platform to exercise and socialize. I grew up at skateparks riding my bike with friends and have made many close friendships. Unfortunately, myself and others who enjoy these parks in Louisburg have to travel +30 minutes into Raleigh to enjoy a skatepark with adequate features. While grateful, it is obvious that the skatepark was built without proper plans. The skatepark is only half usable at most times due to it’s shared layout with the pickleball court. 

Please consider aloting funds and planning to an expansion, a relocation or just an uplift of the Louisburg skatepark.
