Cancer doesn't stop when we're 70 and neither should mammograms! Tell your mother, your sister, your aunt, your neighbour, anyone over 70 in case they don’t know they can self-refer (generally GPs won't unless there's a lump or some other indication) to contact their local breast screening unit and request a boobiegram every 3 years.

I had my surgery on Thursday 25th - which wouldn't have happened if I had not self-referred - and doing OK.
