Petition updateExpand NHS outreach for over 70s mammograms

Personal update over-70s mammograms

Update: I had the scheduled NHS mastectomy Thursday afternoon and, amazingly, was home by 7pm. The  MRI/biopsies had shown 2 tumours (not there at last self-referred mammogram 3 years ago) hence lumpectomy out of question which was explained to me.
Took sentinel lymph node biopsies (blue dye) so fingers crossed it hasn't spread. Now await results: is that it - or need further treatment?
This all exemplifies the need for my petition: who knows my outcome if I hadn't self-referred...

Cancer doesn't stop when you're 70 and neither should mammograms!
Please keep sharing and signing (well  over 71,000 and still climbing!). Glad to see guys adding their signatures!

Nikki Fox BBC interviewer says it's goung live as follows:

Shorter one at 1330 BBC1 (East) and longer one at 1830 BBC1 (East) Online ready to go in morning, radio pkg done, likely tomorrow teatime.

Poss BBC London but don’t know

Hopefully added ammunition for MPs to raise in Parliament!

Thank you all again 💕
