We're on the way to 75,000 signatures so thank you. But we need 100,000 so, please, can you keep sharing?
I have many, many messages saying they either forgot or were unaware they could self-refer for mammograms when over 70 and some say that when, eventually, breast cancer was diagnosed, it was far advanced, even spread - had they had had mammograms it would have been discovered earlier with a better outcome.
Which proves how important is this petition: we are saving lives.
Make sure you tell your mothers, grandmothers, work colleagues - in fact anyone over 70 - they can self-refer to their local Breast Screening Unit: a GP referral is not necessary.
Thanks again.
