Expand Mosquito Spraying in Trophy Club, TX to Protect Families from Bites and Illness

Expand Mosquito Spraying in Trophy Club, TX to Protect Families from Bites and Illness
The Issue
Dear Trophy Club Officials,
As concerned residents of Trophy Club, TX, we are asking the Town to expand its current mosquito abatement program beyond reactive spraying to include scheduled, proactive town-wide fogging during the peak mosquito season.
While we appreciate the existing larvicide and trap monitoring efforts, these actions are not enough to prevent widespread mosquito nuisance and potential health risks. Bites are occurring daily, limiting the enjoyment of parks, backyards, and public spaces—especially for families with children and elderly residents.
Regular control keeps mosquito populations low, reducing the chance of virus outbreaks and the need for harsh, reactionary broad-area sprays
We are requesting:
Monthly or biweekly fogging across all neighborhoods and parks from May to September during non peak hours for pollinators (dawn and dusk)
Expanded criteria for spraying beyond just West Nile Virus-positive mosquito pools
Transparent, published spray schedules and updates
Please sign this petition to encourage our local government to act swiftly before mosquito populations grow even worse.
Thank you for standing with us to Fight the Bite in Trophy Club!
