I wanted to start this petition after seeing my daughter just about die from a allergic reaction to medication that was given for mental health. The medication gave her T.E.N  toxic epidermal necrosis, I have seen my daughter struggle with mental health since she turned 18, ive been trying to find help anywhere but I cant afford the 3000 it takes to get her a assessment. The psychiatrist wont diagnosis only a psychologist can do that and its not covered through NHIB.
I know indigenous mental health goes hand and hand with the generational trauma that has happened from residential schools and 60s scoop along with MMIW, this should be covered fully by the government for their involvement in said atrocities. 
I believe this will help greatly with getting the actual help needed for people suffering from homelessness.
