FREE an INNOCENT man of God, Vicente B Garcia, from a wrongful conviction since 2012! Vicente was wrongfully accused of indecency to a minor out of spite from a woman he no longer wanted a relationship with because she was very toxic & a confirmed drug addict. Judge gave him 40 years!! Christina coerced her daughter, 14 yrs of age to help keep my dad, Vicente, from being with anyone else. We have voice-mail recordings of her, along with multiple witnesses that confirm Christina, saying, "If I can't have you, no one will!" Her daughter, Dominique, is now an adult who we are having difficulty locating to come forward to tell the truth. My younger brother lived with my dad at the time that Christina & her 6 children were under the care of Vicente Garcia. Vicente is not the father of any of her children,  but he wanted to do right by helping her and her family, who were struggling at the time. He was unaware that she would be capable of spreading such terrible lies. We need help getting Vicente's story heard! We must come together to exonerate Vicente. He lost 12 years of life with his 5 kids, 16 grandchildren, and the death of his brother, who passed from Leukemia.  He's missed out on so many Birthdays, Holidays, the births of 10 grandchildren.  To which, he will never get any of those memories back. His health is declining and he doesn't have the proper care he should be getting. The last thing we want is for my dad to fall ill and die in the hell hole he's in now. In the state of Texas, there are approximately 3K-9K innocent people serving time for a crime they did not commit and I never thought that my dad, Vicente B Garcia would be part of the statistics.  His lawyer, Ronald Mackell Jr., failed to represent him, failed to allow any of his peers to testify so that Vicente can tell his truth because the lawyer claimed that we won, that no judge would convict him because there was NO EVIDENCE of indecent exposure to a minor and that all the facts proved his innocence. We have filed appeals, mistrial, habeas corpus and applied to the innocence project of Texas. We haven't stopped fighting since 2012. With your help, we can get his story heard!
