Exeter Chiefs have been known as the Chiefs for 21 years. There is a minority which thinks the name and branding is disrespectful to American Native Indians.

Nothing could be further from the truth. It was chosen as a symbol of strength, power, and honour.

It is the club and supporters’ right to respectfully request from the board of directors, that the name and logo’s remain, and not to bow to those individuals, who wrongly think our name and brand is detrimental to indigenous American people.

Exeter Chiefs, PLEASE DON’T LOSE OUR IDENTITY ! It is not disrespectful to anyone.
