A pre-action letter has been sent to the Mayor and, following receipt of a response, a claim for judicial review of the London Plan needs to be submitted by 12 April 2021.

I have been advised that we should start fundraising now to raise the £10,000- £15,000 that will be needed to file the claim for judicial review so that we have the greatest chance possible of raising the money needed

This money should cover the cost of issuing the formal legal challenge and liability to the Mayor of London's costs should a challenge not be successful. Any funds not spent will be donated to NHS Charities Together

If a judge quashes The London Plan, the Plan’s policies will need to be revisited and more public consultation - of which this time people across London will be aware - will have to take place
