We the tenants, family and friends of Caney Point RV Resort would like to implore the SRA to reconsider taking the upper section of our park and using it for commercial construction and development. We love our "home away from home" and are devastated we may loose it. Spending time on Lake Fork has given us the opportunity to enjoy amazing fishing, view abundant wildlife and create priceless memories with our families. Nothing is better than seeing children fishing and learning the reverence of the land! We treat this land as if it is our own, we are invested in its well being. We respect the wildlife, keep the areas clean from trash and debris, and watch out for lake visitors that don't have the same love for this area that we all have. We have each, at different times, come back from a fishing trip with a bag of various trash someone dumped and left on the lake. We are happy to keep it nice, because it's our special paradise. There have been multiple expenses and improvements we have put into this property that will be there for families to enjoy for years to come. We did these improvements because we take great pride in our park and appreciate all the happiness it has given each of us. 

It is our most sincere request that you will consider an alternate plan for this development and allow us to continue to enjoy and love all areas of Caney Point. We are not only thinking of ourselves, but we are also concerned for the beautiful wildlife that will be displaced because of this.
