Evolve Kent's household waste centre 'booking slot' system

Evolve Kent's household waste centre 'booking slot' system
The "booking slot" system was introduced to Kent's household waste recycling centres in response to the Covid19 pandemic, but has been retained despite virtually all other Covid19 measures being relaxed. Surveys were conducted in 2021 (which apparently said that the system should be retained), but this was at a time when Covid was far more of a risk - and perhaps opinions to retain the booking system were influenced by that fact.
Whilst the system works for some, for many people having to pre-book and plan to visit waste centres many days ahead is inconvenient, often impractical and is seen to now be unnecessary, but there seems to be no plans to relax the booking system to allow people to turn up on the day, as used to be the case pre-2020.
In addition, as visitors are using their cars, sometimes more than one visit is required, and the current system makes being able to do multiple visits on the same day very difficult.
I propose that this petition opens up a discussion with KCC to evolve the "booking system", retaining it only at weekends, and to reinstigate the "turn up on the day without booking" system that was in place prior to 2020 on Monday to Fridays. I see this as an excellent compromise for all parties, those for the booking system and those against.
