As you all know, the rescue has been fostering birds for a long time and recently we were so extremely happy to announce we have had a huge dream come true - We received state approval with the Dept of Agriculture to have a dealer and hauler license!! We now need to have zoning approval and are petitioning Plymouth Borough Zoning Board at an upcoming meeting. 

Would ANY of you guys be willing to sign the petition and possibly atten a zoning hearing with me to help me tell my side and why it's important, so I won't go in it alone? We have a big battle ahead but it's worth a shot for my babies. My promise is that these birds will have the BEST care ever here and I will abide by the laws and ordinances that come with running a rescue for birds. I know it's not cheap, but I'm willing to work hard like I've been. Do you stand with me? 

We wake up at the sun up everyday for the last 3 years, making sure our rescues have fresh food, water, chop, clean papers, clean cages,etc. We scrub floors and walls! When one bird leaves, another comes! It's a full time job that doesn't even pay! But look how happy and healthy they all are. Trust us, they didn't arrive looking like this. The adoption fees cover alot, from food, medicine, travel, repairs, raised bills, advertising, flyers, events, etc. People don't realize how many birds are actually given up! From Finches to Macaws, I've rehabbed, trained, and homed many birds in the past few years to wonderful homes. We also do house visits, screenings, open houses, meet&greets, networking and so much more! We hope this whole thing brings awareness to the reality of birds needs. I am grateful for everybody's help and support! So are my birds.
