Greyhounds are being used for commercial racing and they are not being treated correctly, and New Zealand is one of only 7 countries in the world that still allows commercial greyhound racing. Last year there were 34 dogs killed on racetracks due to critical injuries and a further 165 dogs were euthanised for reasons the industry will not even disclose to the public, and for this reason plus many others we want to try help raise awareness and hopefullyput a ban to greyhound racing for good to help these innocent animals who are being used for gambling profits and entertainment purposes.
