When we go into a supermarket, coffee shop or petrol station , everything in our sight is most likely encased in plastic. We can’t tackle this devastating environment issue all at once but one place to make a start is definitely the lethal one use plastic bottle.

Some choose to drink this bottled water over tap water as they believe that it has health benefits. It doesn’t. A scientific study shows that tap water has the same, if not more, minerals such as calcium and magnesium  than bottled water. You , as a result of drinking this plastic bottled water aren’t helping your body or the environment. These bottles are shipped off to landfill or illegal dumping sites and are never to be seen again ... or are they ?

Plastic bottles take hundreds of years to biodegrade and even then, they release hundreds of micro plastics that poison our air, water and bodies. That may not sound like a lot of micro plastics but think if just 10 Billion people used a one use plastic bottle; that number soon adds up! These micro plastics infected our cities and houses, going undetected because of their size.

We want to change that. We want to make companies truly realise the problem that they’re creating. Why sell these monstrous plastic bottles when they can simply install a water refill station  and help our planet recover. Do you want to take a stand ? Are you sick of seeing hundreds of plastic bottles on a daily basis when it’s easy to get a reusable bottle? Take your own water bottle with you on the daily and make companies aware that YOU aren’t willing to let them destroy our world. Please sign our petition so that we can show these companies and shops that we are ready to show them their wrong doings!!
