Today I came down to watch the news to find that the BBC documented the selling of elephant from Zimbabwe to China! Over 30 baby elephants were ripped from there mothers to be shipped half way around the world to a zoo to live out there lives in hell! The outrage that this caused was huge but what people don’t realise is that this is happening all around the world to every animal! Not just elephants! What’s the difference between ripping a baby elephant from its mother than ripping a baby cow from her mother?? I believe that its time the people all over the world see what is really happening in our slaughter houses, the pain that these animals are going through and the detrimental effects that the meat, dairy and fishing industry are having on our environment. I want my children to be able to go to the Great Barrier Reef and see live coral, swim with free dolphins, learn about polar bears, walk through the amazon rainforest and look over the African grasslands teaming with life, but if these barbaric acts of slaughter continue then my children will see nothing but lands stripped of life and replaced with farm land. So together we can demand the truth be shared with the world, to help make a change.
