The Jhoots pharmacy chain has gotten away with treating their staff abysmally for far too long!

I’ve worked with them myself for a total of two years and seen people fired/dismissed/disciplined for the most ridiculous things! Including myself! 

- Pressured an employee into leaving because they took time off to look after their partner who had been diagnosed with CANCER

- Fired someone because they had a week off sick after being admitted to hospital with SEPSIS and other days off to take care of their CHILD

- Fired someone for time off after the stress of their workplace left them struggling with DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY

- Fired someone for having one day off work after finding out one of their parents had CANCER 

And I myself have now just been dismissed for a simple mistake which caused harm to absolutely no one and was rectified as soon as it was spotted 2-4 months back with no warning of any kind after being the ONLY dispenser during the COVID-19 pandemic while everyone else was off sick/isolating. 

I’m sure we all remember when Sarbjit Jhooty (Charlie) made a load of stores hike all the paracetamol prices up as well?

Is this really the kind of community pharmacy chain that we want for our NHS? After how hard our NHS has worked to keep all of our loved ones safe and alive while Jhoots were profiting from those who were terrified and in need?

They had picked and chosen which branches they decided they will reward for their hard work during the pandemic as well - hardly fair when all staff in all branches would have been working equally as hard to keep things going for the sake of the patients. 

Let’s take this company down once and for all and start by boycotting all their pharmacies!!
