Dianne Hunt, the owner of Dianne’s Tea Shop, has boasted for many years through interviews of bringing business to life with love but this has been proven to be a lie. She is also linked to Radical Designs. Recent public statements by her has revealed that she not only disregards the hardship faced by persons of color but she is also an insensitive person who does not care about the feelings of the wider public especially when so many persons are fighting for their rights world wide. By stating “All lives matter” on a plate at her business place she expresses that people of color should accept the level of oppression they face. When asked about it she stated that a black employee wrote it, instead of taking accountability for actions done at her own business! It matters not who wrote it, it matters that she thought it was ok to have it on her social media platform! She allowed it and consented to it. Passing blame on someone else tells us all we need to know about her character.

She also agrees with president Trump’s statement that “Great nations don’t fight endless wars” but fails to even notice that the United States and other nations in the World has been systematically fighting persons of African decent for centuries. She is insensitive and clearly does not care about persons of African decent in her country, so why should we continue to support this lady! We boast here that “every creed and race finds an equal place” but do they really if we allow people like this to continue without consequences? The population of T&T is predominantly black we are the majority and our dollar has a lot of weight!
