Currently in Australia, it is perfectly legal to leave animals in your car as long as the windows are slightly rolled down and the pet does not look heat distressed. 

It is illegal to leave young kids in a car at any point. So why should our animals be treated differently? How can the owner know that the animal will not become distressed a few minutes post their departure?

It is cruel. And it causes hundreds of deaths each year.

Please help ban this carelessness!
