For decades children have been exploited in Japanese media called ‘Junior Idols’ and U-15 (under 15) and even U-12 Models in bikinis. This is disturbing because it is legally available in Japan and is essentially child exploitation under the guise of ‘modelling’ on a large scale for profit. The fact that these companies are allowed to get away with selling dvd’s and posting these images online, and that google shows them freely, is depressing. People will stand up for other things, why not stand up to protect children in Japan?
