Gustav Elijah Ahr was in the process of becoming true "pop royalty" (NY Times) when he died of an accidental fentanyl overdose at age 21 on November 15, 2017. Troubled, like many musical geniuses, he was a pioneer in the music industry. While amassing a large cult following, Peep crafted his own raw and emotional fusion of emo, trap, alternative R&B, with rock influences; emo rap. His deep-cutting lyrics continue to affect listeners and musicians all over the globe. Although he is an angel now, his heart still beats through his fans and his music. His story needs to be told through a professional film medium, whether that be a box office motion picture, a Netflix documentary, etc. From his birth in Pennsylvania, to his days and nights in Long Island, to his grim death on that tour bus in Tucson- his life needs to be shared with the world.
