On June 1, 2020, a 77-year-old black ex-cop named David Dorn was shot in the back and killed while trying to protect a store from looters during the riots in St. Louis. 

Black lives matter, even the lives of our black cops. We cannot protest the unjust death of an innocent black man only to kill another one and call it "justice". Fighting violence with violence is not the answer.
