The Issue
This group stands in opposition to the planned development at 1621 Chicago Avenue in Evanston.
The Horizon Realty Group is attempting to push through a 15-story high-rise beside The Merion, displacing local businesses and causing traffic and bike congestion in an already-congested area.
A 15-story building is wholly out of place in this area and we vehemently oppose Horizon's attempt to push this plan through and uproot local business.
We ask Evanston City Council to vote NO on this development.
