The brutality of the police and government is unAcceptable, we are demanding to release all the innocent citizens who've been arrested by the police even the family of the opposition is in jail just because they stand up to challenge Alexander Lukashenko in the election.

Many women who were at the protest report that they have seen people being severely beaten by the police. Police used Tear gas, and water cannons brutally and even drove a police van on the protesters to disperse them. A peaceful protest is the right of any citizen. Unfortunately, instead of finding a better solution ,holding a transparent voting system, the government started the violence and brutality on the peaceful protest to cover their wrongs.is it fair?

Are we really independent nations?

It all started from the day of the election in Belarus on 8 August 2020.

Officials said that Alexander Lukashenko has won the presidential elections with approximately 80% of the votes, however, these official numbers are believed to be rigged not just by the locals also by the foreign election observers standards it was also said by many foreign observers that "Belarus has never had a free and fair elections".

You all are well aware that Lukashenko is consistently winning every re-election over 26 years and he has such control on almost every authority, but the fact is, the situation  was totally changed in these elections of 2020.in the previous month he was losing his popularity due to his careless behavior to control the COVID-19 people were asking him to be well managed and if it's necessary to lock-down the country so do it, but he didn't respond although he didn't take any serious actions, however, this was the main cause of his losing votes and popularity.

He was challenged by a political newcomer Svetlana Tikhanovskaaya (whose husband got arrested by the police because he was  pro-democracy activist so he barred from registering to be on 2020 balled).

Is it fair?

Tikhanovskaaya was gaining a lot of popularity among the people of Belarus and she was expected to be the next President.

2020 elections weren't free and fair, It was reported the Media wasn't there in the time of voting and the internet was also cut down.

Staring of the August 9 Netblock which is an internet monitoring org, reported that the internet connection has been disturbed.

On August 11, The Org reported that connectivity has returned to most areas of Belarus which is a clear sign of unfair elections.

The foreign voters also said they cannot cast their votes, there was a lot of trouble, some of them said when they went to the polling stations there wasn't proper security and only 1 person was allowed to cast the vote at a time so there are likely chances of unfairness.

In some areas, there was just one polling ballet. How can this happen?

After the official announcement of the results, people of Belarus started the peaceful protest against the unfair elections, people went out on the streets demanding the transparent result.

From the night of August 11, thousands of people have been detained and hurt by police dozens were injured in the clashes that began after polling station closed on Sunday.

It is reported that police started the violence and brutality on the protesters.

Police used the Tear gas, stun grenades, and water cannons to disperse protestors. At first, it was reported 200 plus people were injured and hospitalized and the one protestor died on August 10. After the explosive detonated in his hands now it seems the figures have been increased, the innocents who are arrested by the police more than 3000. What exactly is the reason?

Just because they were protesting again there rigged elections? Or they were speaking for their right demanding the fair voting result?

We the Californa movers stand with our Belarus friends and don't accept the rigged election results.

We Condemn this false behavior of police towards the protesters.

We need your help in this critical time, please ask your government to not accept these rigid elections results as a final result.

We want a fair and free counting of the voting.

Help us in demanding  to release of almost 3000 Belarus citizen which also include political leaders and journalist.

The most disappointing thing is Tikhanovskaaya at first didn't  accept the result and take part in the protest against the unfair elections and later on, she said in a video on August 11 that she has left the Belarus on her own accord to be with her child.

How can someone leave the country so easily in such a critical situation?

After some time she again said in a video that she has accepted the results now it's time for Belarus citizens to also accept it. Accept Alexander Lukashenko their President again.

However, in her video, one can easily see she was ready with the sentences from a script. It looks like she was strongly forced to leave the country. Although many politicians read from the paper but her expressions were easily judge-able that she was under the total stress or something like forced.

You see in a Country where A great personality isn't safe then who else can be?

Several journalists have been injured and some were detained by the police.

Think about it if a Journalist isn't safe how can we all?

We are all Belarus and how is it possible to use force, to brutally use tear gas, water cannons on your own people?

Therefore it's a request  to foreign friends please help us by asking your government to take any action on this false-elections and ask our Belarus government to stop the use of violence on innocent people and release all prisoners of the protest including our journalist.

Respect the rights of the citizen and refrain from the use of force.
