UK Bass Fishing 2017 - Signs on every Pier & Beach showing Minimum Landing Size & C&R
The Issue
Sea Bass Regulations 2017
Signs on every Pier & Beach!
From the 1st of January 2017 to the 30th June 2017 all sea bass caught in the UK must be released - none are to be retained. From 1st July 2017 to 31st December 2017, only one bass measuring above 42cm may be kept per angler, every 24 hours.
Live Stream Fishing UK has seen a sharp rise in anglers not understanding these regulations. We are calling for the European Parliament Fisheries Committee (PECH) to invest in signs on every pier & beach in the UK, explaining the rules on C&R and minimum landing sizes of sea bass.
