Overturn Article 13

Overturn Article 13
The Issue
Today, the EU Parliament voted on the controversial Article 13, the result was 438 to 226 with MEP's voting in favour of the Article.
The new rules will require popular platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and many others to implement a content filter to prevent copyrighted material from being uploaded, this could include screen grabs from movies and audio from copyrighted material even if it is edited or remixed. It could also mean a large amount of content on YouTube could be blocked in the EU. These new laws will likely affect everyone who uses the internet unless something is done.
We as a community on the internet cannot allow this happen, and we must act now to save our freedom on the internet.
