Today in Italy another example of European funds bad use has occurred. In the province of Trento: the female bear Daniza has been killed by a wrong use of narcotic. Daniza was the bear introduced in the Adamello-Brenta following the signing of the project Life Ursus. This story started with an improbable assault by the bear against a man, almost miraculously uninjured, who had approached the puppies. Following the vague and only testimony of this man, Daniele Maturi, the Province has decided to remove the bear from the children that are only six months old and shut her up in a fence.
