Thank you again for signing the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund for Performers petition.

We are making progress. The EU Culture Ministers have met twice in recent weeks. They recognise that the creative sector has been badly hit by the pandemic and, because you have told them, they understand that performers are most severely affected. We have lost all live performances, sessions and workshops. They want to help artists and they are discussing funds for the creative sector but so far there is nothing definite.

Meanwhile, we are working on streaming revenue. Featured performers receive a small % for streaming from their producer. Most performers receive no revenue from streaming. We are asking for a remuneration right managed by your collective management organisation.
