European citizens: finance a fair criminal justice system in Iran, not executions! #JusticeIran

The Issue

In 2012, between 541 and 580 people were executed in Iran. Approximately two-thirds of the executions were for crimes tied to drug-related charges.

The fight against drug trafficking in Iran is partly supported by European Union member countries funding through the UN Office against Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Thus, through their governments, the European citizens finance programs that lead to a net increase of executions in Iran.
