Association of McKenzie Friends
Jan 28, 2015
Dear Supporters, Here is what I published after Bulgarian ELLIE POPOVA asked me to assist her in Brussels yesterday: http://mckenzie-friends.co.uk/2015/01/25/bulgarian-petition-with-over-5500-signatures-to-stop-forcedadoption/ Ellie is on https://www.facebook.com/Elizabeth.popova She had travelled with her mum who also spoke beautifully and you can watch on http://www.europarl.europa.eu/ep-live/en/committees/video?event=20150127-1500-COMMITTEE-PETI I summed it up in 8 slides on https://mckenzies4fairness.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/15-01-27-help-megan-return.pptx This morning I was told that the internet has revealed that the father is involved in ... child porn! Please, mums and dads, if you suspect paedo activity around your children, do come forward! We KNOW it about schools in Hampstead and Highgate in North London: http://mckenzie-friends.co.uk/2015/01/02/why-ian-josephs-advises-mothers-not-to-report-the-crimes-of-abusive-fathers-you-lose-your-children/ The UK Secretary of the Petitions Committee, David Lowe, retired yesterday. But he who had planned the visit of MEPs for a fact finding tour said that it WILL happen, but not in March. The reason is mainly a large backlog of petitions that are now being counted and grouped per country. Latvian Laila Brice initiated the PETI process: http://lailabrice.wordpress.com/ - victimised by Merton Council. We travelled to Brussels with a delegation of 30 parents on 19 March to make our points: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNvQFlFy9Cs On 11 November, after the election of new MEPs again: http://mckenzie-friends.co.uk/2014/11/13/ep_petitions-in-brussels-on-forcedadoption-and-childsnatching-in-uk/ when a Polish mother made her point beautifully, too. Slovakia set the model by joining proceedings and the lawyer sent me this link: http://www.familylawweek.co.uk/site.aspx?i=ed126781 Russian Duma member MS Borzova published now "When is it ok to remove a child from her or his birth family? http://assembly.coe.int/nw/xml/News/News-View-EN.asp?newsid=5397&lang=2&cat=133 The Netherlands who prise themselves with following the UK model eventually returned the Latvian twins: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/11248178/Twins-returned-to-family-after-32-months-of-hell-spent-in-care.html The cat is out of the bag. The UK is on the agenda! Meetings with Whitehall have already taken place according to David Lowe and the EU Commission whom we met in December heard the message loud and clear yesterday. Brussels II is the buzz word when parents are of two nationalities: http://www.familylawweek.co.uk/site.aspx?i=ed1176 As a conclusion, I would like to encourage you to formulate your petition according to http://www.petiport.europarl.europa.eu/petitions/en/registration/form ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FOREIGN! The Swedish Chair commented on the absence of UK MEPs. But I did speak to the assistant of Jude Kirton-Darling who has been most supportive, understanding and interested! He will join us at the next meeting to plan an event in Brussels, too! The Knight Foundation now has a bank account, if you can support our Battle for Britain's Children: http://www.theknightfoundation.org.uk/home/ Account No. 7643 0160 Sort Code 30-99-86 And thus: trust us to keep kicking, while NOT giving up hope!!! We will request the RETURN of forcefully adopted children!!! And we WILL stop this policy of removing children "in their best interest"!!! Sabine
