The EU Commissioner Vera Jourová has called on all national authorities to investigate the complaints of mis-selling of French leaseback properties. However, she has indicated that the French authority (DGCCRF) have responded saying that they require full details of operators etc before they can do that. Ms Jourová has therefore requested all national consumer authorites to engage with the DGCCRF and pass on all these details. Therefore, all owners who believe they were mis-sold should submit their case to the CCPC (Irish owners) or CMA (UK owners) or other EU member state national consumer authority so that they can be represented and the details of their complaint made known to the DGCCRF. Find details below on how to do this. Submit an overview of your case now. If you need time to gather together the supporting details (marketing material, lease etc) pass them on at a later stage.
