Etsy is one of the most successful and popular online retailers, and offers handmade and unique items from sellers around the globe. Many of us have been buying and selling through Etsy for years, and rely on it for our art and creative projects, as well as finding that unique and perfect gift for someone.

Sadly, Etsy also continues to allow the sale of real fur through their site. The international fur trade is one of the most violent and animal abusing industries on the planet, and animals such as fox, rabbit, mink, coyote, and even dogs and cats, suffer horrifically through trapping, imprisonment in cages, and other means used to take their skin. 

We need to tell Etsy to take a stand against this needless violence and animal abuse for the sake of fashion and decoration like many retailers have already done, and to prohibit the selling and purchasing of fur on the Etsy platform.
