Etsy, which used to be a haven for the truly independent designer, has decided to re-define "handmade" ~ allowing the site to be flooded with mass-produced goods from China and India.  

Not only does this contradict Etsy's OWN policies, but it encourages resellers who exploit sweatshop labor and blatantly sell items from sites such as Alibaba.com at massive markups.  

Please sign this petition to encourage Etsy to enforce it's own guidelines!!
