Ethiopia is a country that has enjoyed a long and proud history. The Green ,Yellow and Red flag is and has been for many generations a representation of our love for this ancient nation. 

Green- represents out beautiful fertile country 

Yellow- represents the religious diversity and tolerance

Red- represents the sacrifice PSID over many generation to preserve our proud history

Many governments have come and gone. Individuals may come and go but the country and the nation will live forever. 

This flag that we are so proud of I'd the representation of our nationhood and should not be used by political parties and governments of the day to define Ethiopianianism 

Therefore I believe our flag should remain free from emblems of various political groups. currently it bears the yellow star of TPLF

I ask all Ethiopians to stand with me by signing this petition as I put forward this request to keep our flag pure and free from politicisation by those who take power in yo this hands by force or by election. I request the parliament to 

1-remove the yellow star on the blur background 

2-remove the star from all official use of the flag 

3-to enshrine it in our constitution that the flag of nation must never bear any emblem of any political party
