I am a resident of Pearl River, NY. One day, I witnessed a heartbreaking scene - a deer was run over because it had nowhere else to go. This incident is not isolated; it's an unfortunate reality for many animals in our town due to the lack of safe spaces for them.

We need action now more than ever. We urge our local government and relevant authorities to establish more safe havens for wildlife in Pearl River - areas where they can live without fear of being run over or harmed by human activities.
