From Dr. Leah Brown… “…Look!…” with one simple post and a screenshot, we made history! Getting 500 signatures on this petition is a true milestone. Not necessarily, because we hit a certain number, but 500 people in this world, has realized how important it is, to get #KiyahsLaw enacted. This means, that more people, will be protected…more survivors will have greater stories and more abusers will be tracked! It means that there will be a greater accountability and an even more powerful presence for those that are seeking and searching for answers to the behavior of their intimate partner. Sometimes, just knowing that the “red flags” actually have a history, allows a person to go from a victim to a survivor and live to see another day.
