According to the Migration Policy Institute, approximately 7.6m of the estimated 11m unauthorized immigrants employed in the U.S. contribute significantly to our economy and deserve a chance at life without fear (MPI, 2018). By providing these hardworking individuals with a path to citizenship, we are upholding the spirit of the American dream - a belief in the power of opportunity and the promise of a better life.
