The intersection of Fowler and Teague has long been a concern for our community due to its safety risks. Currently controlled by only a one-way stop sign, this crossing places drivers, passengers, and pedestrians at constant risk. Every time a member of our community goes through this intersection, they face the potential danger of a collision, simply because the traffic flow is not properly regulated.

Accidents have been reported here, and even when crashes are avoided, near misses are far too common. The lack of a traffic light means that drivers are forced to make judgment calls in fast-moving traffic, increasing the chance of serious accidents. This is not just a matter of convenience, it is a matter of safety for everyone who uses the intersection.

By establishing a traffic light at Fowler and Teague, we can significantly reduce accidents, protect our families, and create a safer community for all. It is time to take action before more lives are put at risk.
